Nonso Okpala is the Group Managing Director of VFD Group Plc. He was previously the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Heirs Holdings and is replete with vast experience in the Nigerian financial services industry garnered while working with reputable firms like KPMG, BGL and United Bank for Africa Plc (UBA).

John is the Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of VFD Group Plc. He has several years’ experience in Finance, Audit, Risk Management, Sustainability Services and Corporate Governance Services. He was the Chief Financial Officer at Heirs Holdings Limited and was previously the Head of Business Assurance & Compliance in the same company. Prior to joining Heirs Holdings Limited in June 2012, he was a Manager in the Internal Audit, Risk & Compliance Services division of KPMG. John is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).

Morenike is the Chief of Staff at VFD Group plc formerly the Head, Regulatory Compliance. She has over a decade progressive experience in the financial services industry in Portfolio Management, Operations and Compliance. She Holds a B.Sc In Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ogun State and an MBA from Business School Netherlands(BSN). She is a SEC Sponsored Compliance Officer and a member of the Compliance Institute of Nigeria (Designate Compliance Professional). In the past, she worked with Afrinvest Asset Management Limited where she excelled as a Head, Fund/Portfolio Manager, Operations Associate and Compliance Officer. She also worked with Asset and Resource Management Company (ARM) as the Head of Compliance overseeing Compliance activities for the group and all its subsidiaries.

Adeniyi Adenubi is the Director, Governance and Government Relations of VFD Group Plc. He has over 10 years of hands-on experience in Private Equity, Venture Capitalism and Financial Advisory. He also has a specific oversight on Corporate Governance He has played Financial Advisory roles to numerous firms in Nigeria and in the United Kingdom, most notably with the Royal Bank of Scotland and ATOS Consulting.

Mobolaji is a Non Executive Director at VFD Group Plc. He holds a B.Sc. in Management and Accounting from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife and an MBA specializing in Finance from the Judge Business School, University of Cambridge. He is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) with over ten years post-qualification experience. Prior to joining VFD Group Plc, he worked with the Managing Director of First Bank of Nigeria Limited. Prior to that, he was the Special Adviser to the Managing Director of ASO Savings and Loans Plc while doubling as Head of Strategy. Bolaji has deep financial services experience and expertise, having worked with regional and global leaders in the financial services sector, such as the United Bank for Africa and KPMG Nigeria.

Kelvin Orogun is a Non-Executive Director, VFD Group. He is Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Cashpot Limited, a money remittance company with headquarters in London and offices in Lagos, Nigeria.

Hubert Asamoah is an accomplished executive with expertise in finance, strategy, business development, and operations. He holds an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Science and Technology, Kumasi. As Managing Director of VFD Group Ghana Limited, he oversees a diverse portfolio, drives strategic direction, and implements compliance and growth policies. Previously, Hubert was Managing Director of MOVIS Logistics Limited, focusing on business development and profitability. His extensive experience includes roles such as Manager of the Economy Portfolio at the Office of the President of Ghana, VP of Finance at Intellirisk Management Corp., and Senior Financial Analyst at Northwest Airlines. His career is marked by leadership, strategic foresight, and operational excellence across various industries.

Mr. Nahim Abé Ibraheem holds a B.A in History from the University of Lagos (1989). He began his career at Orbit Communications in 1990 and founded Soveran Nigeria Limited in 1995, a specialty procurement and petroleum product distribution company. As Chairman of Euronat Nigeria Limited, he has overseen major oil product exports. He has over 30 years of experience across finance, upstream and downstream oil trade, procurement, and manufacturing. His notable roles include representing VShips Monaco S.A in Nigeria and advising Africa Merchant Bank and Société Générale Bank France. Mr. Ibraheem chairs Veritas Kapital Assurance PLC and Lighthouse Capital Limited and serves as a Non-Executive Director of EMTS (9 Mobile), where he heads the Nominations & Governance Committee. He has sat on boards of Morris Nigeria Limited and Super-phosphate Fertilizers & Chemicals Limited. He is a member of the Institute of Directors (Nigeria) and PESA, and an avid sports fan, particularly of Polo, Basketball, American Football, Baseball, Formula 1, and Football. He is married with children.

She has a track record of success in various industries both in the UK and Nigeria. She is presently the President/CEO of The Conceirge Solutions Place, a business she founded. Before she founded The Conceirge Solutions Place, she worked as an Investment and Treasury Management Consultant for the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) and consultant /Workstream lead at the Nigeria Export Promotion Council (NEPC). She had worked at KPMG UK, Canary Wharf, Thames Valley Police, Daily Mail Group London, Vodaphone UK and Jigijagaban Medical Mission.

Kanayo has over twelve years’ professional experience in the Financial Services Industry spanning across banking operations, retail, business and commercial banking. He has worked in various roles across reputable organizations such as Process Flow Outsourcing Limited, Diamond Bank, Fidelity Bank, VFD Group and VFD Microfinance Bank, where he successfully promoted the organization’s products and services to institutional and retail clients. Kanayo has attended various executive programs at The Lagos Business School; is an alumnus of The Indian School of Business and holds a B.Sc. in Geological Sciences from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.

Before her appointment as the Managing Director of Xenia Lifestyle and the Head of Marketing and Communications for HEREL PLC, Deola has successfully managed various brands including VFD Group, Nestlé, The Coca-Cola Company , The Guardian and, Livespot amongst others.

Olaposi is an astute architect and social entrepreneur with about 10 years experience in project development, management, and transaction structuring. A graduate of University of Lagos with a First-class degree in Architecture, he holds a master’s degree with Distinction in Environmental Design and a certification in Entrepreneurial Management from the Enterprise Development Centre, Pan-Atlantic University. He started his career with Spaceframes Architects, where he was involved in the design and execution of multiple residential developments and commercial projects for Standard Chartered Bank, Domino’s & Coldstone creamery, and other corporate clients in Lagos and Abuja. Olaposi later joined Previs Developments – a subsidiary of James Cubitt Group, as the pioneer staff and Head of the project’s unit, where he led the project team in the conceptualisation and development of multiple residential communities valued over N25billion. In 2018, he received commendation from the Federal government of Nigeria on a community-based project focused on the use of alternative building materials in construction.

Obiaajum Chimbo is the Head, Risk Management and Compliance. He has 18 years of proven experience in Risk Management, Branch Operationist, Branch Operations, Internal Control and Customer Experience Management. Prior to joining VFD Group, he has worked in different capacities across Nova Merchant Bank, Access Bank Plc, and Universal Trust Bank. He has an M.Sc. In Economics from the University of Ibadan, a management program at Wharton and B.Sc. in Mathematics from the University of Ibadan. Obi is a member of ACI (Treasury dealer certificate), a Certified Risk Specialist (CRS) and an FRM (Financial Risk Manager) Candidate.

Her career highlights her innovative approach and exceptional leadership abilities, complemented by her expertise in strategic planning, process improvement, team building, stakeholder engagement, and complex problem-solving. Her educational background, including an MBA from Imperial College Business School, further enhances her qualifications as a seasoned professional in global finance.
