Adeniyi Adenubi is the Director, Governance and Government Relations of VFD Group Plc. He has over 10 years of hands-on experience in Private Equity, Venture Capitalism and Financial Advisory. He also has a specific oversight on Corporate Governance He has played Financial Advisory roles to numerous firms in Nigeria and in the United Kingdom, most notably with the Royal Bank of Scotland and ATOS Consulting.

John is the Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of VFD Group Plc. He has several years’ experience in Finance, Audit, Risk Management, Sustainability Services and Corporate Governance Services. He was the Chief Financial Officer at Heirs Holdings Limited and was previously the Head of Business Assurance & Compliance in the same company. Prior to joining Heirs Holdings Limited in June 2012, he was a Manager in the Internal Audit, Risk & Compliance Services division of KPMG. John is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).

He holds a B.Sc. in Management and Accounting from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife and an MBA specializing in Finance from the Judge Business School, University of Cambridge. He is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) with over ten years post-qualification experience. Prior to joining VFD Group Plc, he worked with the Managing Director of First Bank of Nigeria Limited. Prior to that, he was the Special Adviser to the Managing Director of ASO Savings and Loans Plc while doubling as Head of Strategy. Bolaji has deep financial services experience and expertise, having worked with regional and global leaders in the financial services sector, such as the United Bank for Africa and KPMG Nigeria.

Olanipekun Osinowo is a Non-Executive Director of VFD Group Plc. Olanipekun is currently the Managing Director of Layipo Farms Limited and has over 24 years’ work experience in Finance. He was a Principal Partner at First Immaculate Konsult. He also held the role of Chief Financial Officer of Ecobank Nigeria Limited where he headed the finance function, coordinated the strategic planning process of the Bank, and implemented the budget and control. He holds an MBA in Finance (Distinction) from the University of Lagos, an MSc in Economics also from the University of Lagos and a BSc. in Economics (1st Class) from Olabisi Onabanjo University. He is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. He has attended various training courses in accounting, finance, strategy, and corporate governance locally and internationally, including at Harvard Business School. USA.

He is an experienced telecommunications executive, an entrepreneur, and a seasoned engineer with over 24 years of accomplished leadership spanning nearly every area of telecoms business. Femi spent 15 years working on mergers and acquisitions, asset building, corporate development, business process re-engineering, IT consultancy, and business start-ups.

Gbenga Omolokun is the Acting Managing Director, VFD Microfinance Bank. Gbenga Omolokun has developed specific skills in business process and technology management on various client projects across several industries. Gbenga started his career as an Executive Trainee at Zenith Bank Plc in 2008. He then joined KPMG Advisory Services, Lagos as an Experienced Analyst in 2010. Whilst at KPMG, Gbenga acted as the program manager on a systems implementation project for a large manufacturing company across eight countries in Africa and ten project locations. Gbenga has worked on various business process/technology issues with numerous clients across a number of industries including the public sector, Pharmaceuticals, Manufacturing and Financial Services. He left KPMG in 2016 to join VFD as an Executive Director/ COO VFD Group. Gbenga holds a degree in Mathematics from Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife.

Kanayo has attended various executive programs at The Lagos Business School; is an alumnus of The Indian School of Business and holds a B.Sc. in Geological Sciences from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.

Olaposi is an astute architect and social entrepreneur with about 10 years experience in project development, management, and transaction structuring. A graduate of University of Lagos with a First-class degree in Architecture, he holds a master’s degree with Distinction in Environmental Design and a certification in Entrepreneurial Management from the Enterprise Development Centre, Pan-Atlantic University. He started his career with Spaceframes Architects, where he was involved in the design and execution of multiple residential developments and commercial projects for Standard Chartered Bank, Domino’s & Coldstone creamery, and other corporate clients in Lagos and Abuja. Olaposi later joined Previs Developments – a subsidiary of James Cubitt Group, as the pioneer staff and Head of the project’s unit, where he led the project team in the conceptualisation and development of multiple residential communities valued over N25billion. In 2018, he received commendation from the Federal government of Nigeria on a community-based project focused on the use of alternative building materials in construction.

Obiaajum Chimbo is the Head, Risk Management and Compliance. He has 18 years of proven experience in Risk Management, Branch Operationist, Branch Operations, Internal Control and Customer Experience Management. Prior to joining VFD Group, he has worked in different capacities across Nova Merchant Bank, Access Bank Plc, and Universal Trust Bank. He has an M.Sc. In Economics from the University of Ibadan, a management program at Wharton and B.Sc. in Mathematics from the University of Ibadan. Obi is a member of ACI (Treasury dealer certificate), a Certified Risk Specialist (CRS) and an FRM (Financial Risk Manager) Candidate.
